Our goal is for Elementary department students to head off to the intermediate department with their internal drive to learn intact. The Elementary department curriculum helps students develop the foundational knowledge, learning skills, and personality traits to prepare them for success in school and beyond. We nurture the innate curiosity, wonder, and desire to learn in each student.
Our curriculum recognizes the unique needs of young students and channels their natural energy, curiosity, and exuberance into learning activities at every age.
Elementary department programs engage students in an enriching and age-appropriate academic program that meets their specific developmental and educational needs. The overall Elementary department program is challenging, yet warm, friendly, and supportive.
The Academic program covers the subjects of Mathematics, English language, Science, Arabic, French, Art, Computer, Physical Education, Library and extracurricular activities. We use concrete objects to introduce concepts to students.
Hands-on activities that include learning experiences help students to understand concepts and ideas prior to the introduction of lessons and skills and develop a high level of confidence and competence in all curriculum areas.
The school year is divided into 2 semesters. Student’s learning is assessed by regular quizzes, tests, classwork, homework, projects and other evaluation methods. A report card is issued to parents at the end of each semester.
Homework is assigned daily and recorded on the student’s agenda. Parents should encourage students to finish their H.W on a daily basis with no delay. .
Class work is an integral part of the daily learning and evaluation process besides the homework and projects.
